Given the increasing use of Generative Artificial Intelligence in educational settings, a transformation of learning dynamics has taken place, creating new opportunities. However, it has also introduced new challenges, primarily of an ethical nature. The aim of this study is to examine the existence of ethical principles among students at the Escuela de Bachilleres of the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, Norte Campus, associated with the use of artificial intelligence; identifying the presence of foundational ethical concepts related to the use of artificial intelligence within their academic lives. The research followed a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design and descriptive scope, using a structured questionnaire administered to a sample of 100 students. The findings highlight the need to strengthen digital ethics education and to pedagogically integrate the use of artificial intelligence into the formative process.
